Reppin Bridges Myanmar today for the fundraiser! We visited Community Care in Yangon yesterday and saw the amazing work they are doing. This year we are about to support the amazing work they are doing. They started a preschool and feed the children lunch every day. For most this is the only education and meal they will get. Students from one of the preschools we help support.
Come out the the Good Hop (@thegoodhop ) to support us. You can win some of all this cool stuff. Thanks to all the donors!!! We visited the Computer University today and are excited to partner with them in this next year. So much opportunity to make a big difference here with your support. Today I got to visit schools we have donated to. To these schools even a small donation can have a big impact. One computer allowed for teachers to keep track of accounts, grades, create lesson plans, tests and keep photos from the year. We gave a printer to one school and they have saved so much money from having to go to the print shop or computer cafe to create and print different school plans and test. This is all thanks to your support.
Come on out to Oakland and support Bridges Myanmar. 3-8pm @thegoodhop thanks so much for having us. Very mellow come through when you can and make a donation, buy a raffle ticket, and/or make a bid on the silent auction. Schools out for the day and the students take over the streets. These are mostly high school students excited Monday is over... School assembly and performing students.
Lives are changed every year and you can be a part of it. We are already planning our next trip to Myanmar. PM us if you are interested, or we can meet in person. This summer this school will for the first time begin to train their teachers and some students basic computer skills. The donation of this computer is possible thanks to your support. Greg and Andi are part of the team this year that delivered that donation. We are back in Myanmar, so many cute kids. Stay tuned for what we are doing this year.
